Durring church today I felt like we need more things in our community to spread Jesus' love. I'm pretty sure flipside does youth group, but I know a lot of us don't go to that maybe because we don't go to flipside or whatnot, but maybe we want to do something on our own? Maybe we could meet around town somewhere sometime, either after school or later, but if we could just get together with everyone ever so often as a way to say "hey, Jesus loves you...and so do we." We need more uniting in our community, especially if it's with this. We decide what we wanna talk about and we will do what we can to help.
Come on, we need something.
Always, as Promised,

The Angels' Prayer
We all know that Angels are sweet creatures, who help. At least that is what we think they are. So we try to be one. We try to help, be kind, and simply love. So that's the point of this blog. The Angels' Prayer will be an ongoing site to hear troubles with anything and present advice and love to you.
We are here to help, and here to listen.
Thank you,
Always as Promised,
-Stacey.

Looking for Angels
"What will you do to help someone along the way?
Just a touch, a smile as you turn the other cheek
Pray for your enemies, humble yourself, love's staring back at me
In the midst of the most painful faces
Angels show up in the strangest of places"
Pray for your enemies, humble yourself, love's staring back at me
In the midst of the most painful faces
Angels show up in the strangest of places"

Our English teacher told us this story in class the other day:
She was having a bad day, just a, like, hate the world kind of day. So she was stopped at a stop light and a young African-American well-dressed boy was crossing the street. In the divider were two homeless people. As he walked by the woman hobo asked if he had anything for them and he said no. As he went to cross the road he stopped and came back. He said "I'm sorry, I do have something for you. I can pray with you." He put his arm around the woman and motioned for the other hobo to come over.
This is the kind of story that I wish I had witnessed, because it's so moving, and is personal for everyone. Our teacher thought she was having a bad day. And this changed that.
As it can change us all.
